LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This National Geographic magazine has used a dark background for the front cover of the magazine, this draws effect to the title and the image.The use of the dark background makes it clear what the rest of the magazine is going to be about.The font of the title is very sharp and in capitals so it stands out.The space print makes the target audience aware about what the articles inside the magazine may be about.




This magazine cover is used for a nature magazine; it is appealing to the younger generation because of the wide range of colours that are used.On the cover there are multiple pictures of wildlife so the consumer is aware of what the content of the magazine is about.





This is a double spread is something that a younger person may want to buy because there is little writing on it and it is extremely bright.This means that it is easier for a child to understand what is going on in the magazine and its message.

I have chose to do Brief one because I believe that an educational magazine will help show my passion towards the subject my magazine is based on.It will also help me build my Photoshop skills and I am good at communicating my ideas through written work.

My idea is to make an educational science magazine to appeal to 10-13 year old people.In order to make it appealing I will use an all black background with bright colours to make the product stand out.In my cover lines I will give the consumer an idea of what the inside of my magazine will include and also there will be some science competitions and free products to show a sense of realism.Since my magazine is about science my potential titles could be: Electron,Atom or maybe even proton.I can educate people on science by giving a guide of an experiment that they can follow alongside why the experiment had certain results.On my double spread I will also have a safety box to make sure my experiment is safe.




I might take a close up of some chemicals for my front cover.



I can take some of my original 5 images that I need of safety equipment in action and actually setting up the practical.
